I’m excited to announce the launch of a new website for searching Dutch synonyms: synoniemenboek.nl.
This tool was originally developed as part of Mick's Rijmwoordenboek, but I’ve decided to offer it as a standalone service with a fresh, user-friendly layout.
Unlike traditional synonym dictionaries, Micks Synoniemenboek is designed to help you find alternative ways to phrase a word or sentence, not just direct synonyms. My goal is to provide users with more nuanced and creative options.
Right now, the database draws from a mix of my own private collection and an open-source resource. Over time, I plan to replace more and more of the open-source content with entries from my own growing database, ensuring that the tool becomes even more comprehensive and tailored to users' needs.
