Micks Rijmwoordenboek 25 Years
This year, celebrating the 25th anniversary of www.rijmwoordenboek.nl !
I offer hands-on consultancy in software development and AI-powered applications. My key strengths are exploratory development and facilitating the transition from R&D to production, drawing on my experience in research, software development and data science.
My name is Michael Janus, also known as Mick. With expertise in software engineering and data science, I am a full stack AI developer, building innovative applications and AI solutions for client projects and my own business ventures.
As a person, I’m naturally inquisitive and always eager to learn, figure things out, and make it work. While my thinking is abstract and conceptual, I take a hands-on approach to achieve tangible results. I enjoy sharing my learnings and helping others understand complex ideas in an accessible way.
I specialize in creating user-facing, exploratory applications that enable collaboration with a select audience to develop and integrate new technologies. This approach not only supports the discovery of requirements but also facilitates the transfer of technology from research and development to practical implementation.
Moreover, for over 25 years, I've run Mick's Rijmwoordenboek (rijmwoordenboek.nl), a popular website I originally developed in 1999. Although the site’s appearance reflects the early days of the internet, I have continuously modernized its underlying technology to keep it relevant and functional.
